Actor Surya Online - Tamil Actor Suriya Latest News and Movies

Suriya is eagerly expecting the release of Raththa Charithram, a Ram Gopal Varma-directed film, on December 3rd. This is the first trilingual from the star and he has said that it was unique experience to work in three languages simultaneously. On his next film 7aam Arivu, Suriya says that he is well-aware that all eyes are on this project as it is directed by AR Murugadoss, the director with whom he had given a smash hit, Ghajini. It is because of this, 7aam Arivu is more challenging, he adds. In this movie, Suriya plays a handicapped circus artist and Shruthi Haasan plays the female lead.

The audio launch of Raktha Charithra-2 will take place in Hyderabad on November 15th. Suriya, the lead star in this film, is expected to fly down to take part in this event. Raktha Charithra-2 (Telugu) and Raththa Charithram (Tamil) will hit the marquee on November 26th, 2010 while the Hindi version will be released on December 3rd, 2010. Raththa Charithram has Vivek Oberoi and Priyamani sharing the screen space with Suriya and its first part was released in Telugu and Hindi last month. This film is directed by Ram Gopal Varma.

The Suriya starrer Rakta Charitra is said to have some powerful stunts. But Ram Gopal Varma, the director of RC justifies that intense action and violence will be an integral part of the movie and hence cannot be discarded. Rakta Charitra, which is based on a real life incident that happened in Andhra Pradesh a few years ago, has Suriya, Vivek Oberoi and Priyamani in lead roles. Incidentally, Rakta Charitra marks Suriya’s entry to Bollywood and movie buffs speculate that he could turn out to be a hot action hero in Bollywood soon after Rakta Charitra’s release.

Suriya’s fans will get to see their star in a never-seen-before style and get-up in Rattha Charithram. Though the actor has starred in quite a few action films, his image as a romantic hero remains irrefutable. With RC being an out-and-out action flick, Suriya’s style in it has astounded the fans when the songs and trailer were released recently. Sharing the screen space with Suriya is another actor Vivek Oberoi. Like Suriya, he is also known for his lover-boy image and director Ram Gopal Varma had ensured that he underwent a complete image makeover too. RC, sources say, is gearing up for Diwali release.
