Happy Birthday "Surya"
Suriya turns 36 today! The star was born on July 23, 1975 in Chennai to actor Siva Kumar and Lakshmi. Suriya entered the film industry with Nerukku Ner in which he shared the screen space with Vijay in 1997. After a few years, he went on to play the second hero in Friends, once again with Vijay taking up the lead role. The star’s break came in Nandha, a critically acclaimed film from Bala and since then Suriya has had some enviable roles which upped his star status. Pithamagan, Kaakkha Kaakkha, Ghajini, Ayan, Aadhavan, Singam, Raktha Charithra are just a few examples that show Suriya's versatility.
